Esencia.Patagonia participated in the boutique fair held in Chile, which brought together luxury tourism leaders through business meetings, outdoor wellness activities, and inspiring talks. The event provided a unique platform to foster deep connections and explore new ways of conducting business in harmony with nature. Following the event, the company organized a site inspection in Villa La Angostura and Bariloche, attended by various travel agencies.
During the event, Esencia.Patagonia showcased its transformative approach, highlighting its commitment to regenerative tourism—a step forward in the evolution of sustainable tourism. The company presented a portfolio of sustainable luxury experiences in Patagonia, where respect for the natural environment and local communities not only minimizes environmental impact but also seeks to restore and revitalize ecosystems. “The beauty and tranquility of the Valdivian forest inspire us to continue innovating and deepening the concept of regenerative tourism. Our goal is not only to preserve but to regenerate the destinations we visit,” said Nahuel Alonso and Aylén Heis, CEOs of Esencia.Patagonia.
This fourth participation in REMOTE has been crucial for reflecting on the role of high-end tourism in the regeneration of natural destinations. “The fair is not only an opportunity to share our vision but also to learn from other industry leaders who, like us, are committed to transforming tourism into a regenerative force that benefits both nature and local communities,” added Esencia.Patagonia.
REMOTE Immersion Puyehue provided a space for innovation, with a rich agenda of talks on sustainability, immersive experiences in nature, and ample networking opportunities. Professionals from nineteen countries, including representatives of luxury hotels, DMCs, and travel designers, participated in over fifteen outdoor activities designed to foster a deep connection with the local culture and environment.
For Esencia.Patagonia, this participation is another step in its global strategy to establish itself as a leader in regenerative tourism. “This year, we have taken part in key events like MEET UP (Argentina) and PURE Life Experiences (Morocco), and we are convinced that luxury tourism can be a transformative force if it embraces a regenerative approach” they emphasized.
REMOTERS: Towards a Network of Regenerative Tourism
Taking advantage of the proximity to the REMOTE fair, Esencia.Patagonia organized an exclusive site inspection for three travel agencies in Villa La Angostura and Bariloche, offering an authentic immersion in nature. The experience included forest hikes, boat trips on Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Gutiérrez, a fly fishing clinic, horseback riding, rappelling, a mountain lunch, e-bike rides on Victoria Island, and an unforgettable glamping night in yurts. As the perfect finishing touch, the transfer to the airport was in a classic 1966 Ford Mustang, adding a touch of elegance to the end of this unique experience.
These integration and training activities were carried out in collaboration with notable local partners: Las Balsas, Nomads of the Lake, Patagonia Vans, El Casco Art Hotel, and Peuma-Hue.
