The journey begins at Tierra del Fuego National Park with interpretive walks through coastal trails, lakes, rivers, and peatlands. Afterward, a yacht sails into the Beagle Channel towards Isla Redonda, home to the End of the World Post Office. Guests enjoy an afternoon walk, tea, dinner at the post office, and overnight in an exclusive glamping set-up, surrounded by breathtaking tranquility.

Sailing the Beagle Channel to Estancia Harberton
After breakfast on Isla Redonda, a full-day yacht navigation unfolds through the Beagle Channel towards the Atlantic Ocean. Midday brings a coastal lunch at Alma Yagán in Puerto Almanza, before continuing to the historic Estancia Harberton, founded in 1886 by English missionary Thomas Bridges.

Penguins, Heritage & Life at Harberton
This day is devoted to immersion in Harberton’s history and nature. Guests take part in a traditional cooking class, visit the main house, and enjoy English-style afternoon tea. Later, they sail to Isla Martillo to walk near colonies of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, and explore the Acatushún Museum, dedicated to birds and marine mammals of the South Atlantic.

Crossing the Island: Selk’nam Heritage & Cabo San Pablo
A 4x4 journey crosses the Andes through abandoned trails to Garibaldi Pass and Lake Fagnano. In Tolhuin, guests meet the Selk’nam community “Rafaela Ishton” and witness the HAÍN ritual, a reconstruction of this ancestral initiation ceremony. After lunch, the route continues to Cabo San Pablo, with its dramatic Atlantic coast landscapes and the wreck of the Desdémona ship.

Horseback Expedition into Península Mitre
The day begins with a transfer to Estancia María Luisa, where horses await for an expedition into Península Mitre—the island’s remote and wild eastern tip. Riders traverse rivers, peatlands, and open steppe, crossing paths with herds of wild horses. Lunch is served en route, followed by a traditional asado upon arrival at Puesto La Chaira.

Helicopter to the Heart of the Andes

Farewell Trek Across the Andes
The final day begins with a trek from Laguna Celeste to Route 3, descending from the Andes with panoramic views of Tierra Mayor Valley, the island’s winter sports hub. Alternatively, guests may opt for a helicopter transfer back to Ushuaia. The journey closes with a return to Arakur Hotel, where comfort meets reflection on days of untamed exploration.
